Coconut oil and cocoa butter?

This might sound like a dumb question, but I honestly don't know anything about these fats.  I was wondering about coconut oil and cocoa butter.  Are they eatible, do people eat these fats, or are they just used for other purposes?  Do you get them from the grocery store or what?  Thank you.

I was originally just going to make a 100% olive oil soap (I heard it was moisturizing), but a book on soap making told me that you should have at least 10% coconut oil so that the soap will lather (or make suds).

I use coconut oil for all

I use coconut oil for all kinds of cooking, and I believe cocoa butter is in chocolate bars.
